I can't stop admiring this gorgeous knife. I've owned many different knives over the years (fixed and folders) but this one seems so well-made and designed. It feels awesome in my hand and has great ergonomics. Sharp as hell, too.
I actually like the black finish. Some purists strip it off. I don't see the point as I like it being non-reflective. I chose the serrated blade, too, as I think it makes it more versatile for multiple cutting tasks…

I have a few survival and bushcraft knives in different lengths. If I had to pick just one "do all knife" and throw it in a bug-out bag, this would be it. Razor sharp out of the box. Full-tang, high-quality knife for sure. Nothing wrong with sheath that comes with it but a knife this good deserves more than a piece of plastic wrapped around it, so I had a custom leather sheath made so I can carry it on my belt. Can't go wrong with ESEE Knives no matter what size you pick—believe me.

Very high-quality knife and sheath. The sheath is thick plastic. Very durable. The knife is coated and came razor sharp. Grip is on the smaller side but its perfect for the blade weight and length. Makes a very good Battle Belt piece of kit. Or survival knife, etc. Too big for EDC IMHO. Opt for a flip Spiderco if that's what you want. It could potentially work for EDC if you aren’t concerned greatly about concealment.
