The Survival Panel was developed by Randall’s Adventure & Training as a lightweight shelter/signaling tarp that can be carried in a survival kit, in your pocket, or in a vehicle. Built from 30 denier blaze orange nylon, the tarp is designed to have multiple uses: signal panel, a quick tarp or tent to keep the user and/or gear dry, or lashed together to create a bag for holding debris, thus creating an insulating mattress for sleeping on the ground. Note: this tarp is not UV or silicone-treated. It is designed for emergency/survival uses and will fade if left in the sunlight for a long period. While it is water-repellant, we suggest the user treat it with silicone spray for ultimate water protection.

Is esee registered in sam.gov?
Yes, we are registered in the federal contractor registry under Transequatorial Solutions, Inc. Our CAGE Code is 659K9.
What are your payment methods?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. All customer information is encrypted and transmitted via SSL. All credit card transactions are performed through paypal.com. We do not store any payment information locally.

What is the sharpening angle on ESEE knives?
The edges on all of our knives are applied by hand. We do our best to maintain a 20 degree (per side) edge angle but due to the hand application, they may vary slightly. We suggest using a Spyderco Sharpmaker for general edge maintenance or a flat diamond hone.
What products does the warranty cover?
The unconditional warranty covers all knives made by ESEE and all Expat Knives sold by ESEE. It does not cover knives designed by ESEE and manufactured by other companies (such as the Zancudo and Avispa folders).
Will making modifications on my esee knife void the warranty?
No. We warranty the knife regardless of modifications. We may call you an idiot for doing a stupid modification or ruining the knife, but we will warranty the knife.
Will my ESEE knife rust and how do I prevent it?
Our carbon steel knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel, and while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for – especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user’s responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.
Does ESEE sell “seconds”?
We do not sell factory seconds.
